The XtenWEB.CP290 object class provides a single property, CommPort, that is used to set and retrieve the serial port number that is used to communicate with the CP290. The port number is stored in the xtenweb.ini file, and only needs to be set if the CP290 is moved to a different serial port. The following sample code establishes COM2 as the serial port to be used to communicate with the CP290:
